Carpathia; a McKay story

This is McKay's rocket that he built for scouts and they all set them off one Saturday morning. But this post isn't about that...
Friday night McKay and Hollie had a band concert. McKay's band played one song called Carpathia and the band teacher, Mr. Yearsly read how the Carpathia ship received the SOS signals and flew to the rescue of the Titanic and saved at least 700 survivors. He went on to say that when he started to read the story to the band, one student already knew the story and recited to the class in great detail. Steve and I looked at each other and whispered "McKay" and then Mr. Yearsly said, "the school system must be doing something right because McKay knew the whole story" McKay waved to the audience at the mention of his name and everyone laughed. Steve said, "that's my boy!" It was cute!

I can totally see McKay waving to the audience. That's really funny!
